CLunchtime book discussion: noon to 1:30 p.m. on April 18. Join to read and discuss an award-winning or classic book. Feel free to bring a lunch and discuss this month’s title, “The Lock Artist” by Steve Hamilton. Books are available to check out at the Circulation Desk.
Babysitter’s training course: 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on April 20. For grades six through 12. This interactive class teaches participants the role and responsibilities of a babysitter and includes skills in accident prevention, basic first aid, emergency recognition and caring for infants and toddlers. Bring a bagged lunch and beverage for the break. Students will receive a certificate of completion and a book bag or mini backpack. Registration required.
Earth Day Program: 1 to 3 p.m. on April 20. Come celebrate Earth Day by helping the library clean up the outdoor space and plant the garden. Bring the family. The library will also have crafts and activities. Information about the seed library will also be available. If the weather permits, attendees will be planting outside, so dress accordingly. All ages welcome.
