A 17-year-old from West Bloomfield is facing charges after deputies say he attacked his mom during an argument over a PlayStation.

A 17-year-old from West Bloomfield is facing charges after deputies say he attacked his mom during an argument over a PlayStation.

Deputies say the two were arguing about buying a new gaming system at their home in West Bloomfield Thursday afternoon when the teen hit the mom in her back and pushed her over a chair. He is also accused of destroying some property.

The mother had minor injuries, but refused medical treatment, according to the Ontario Country Sheriff's Office.

The teen is charged with criminal mischief and harassment. He was taken to the Ontario County Jail and arraigned Thursday evening.
