The Bright Raven Level 3 and 4 teams finished the recent season by competing in the USA Gymnastics Upstate New York Championships in Rochester.
Many champions were named by taking first place in their respective divisions in individual events and all-around competition.
With 27 teams represented, Bright Raven’s Level 3 team earned the second place team banner. Elliana Visca, 11, of Spencerport, took first place in uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise, in addition to the all-around competition in the Senior C division. Sara Bishop, of Hilton, tied with Visca for first place on the uneven bars and captured first place on vault.
Hailey Neumann, of Brockport, earned first place on the uneven bars in the Senior B division. In the Senior D division, Bella Forkel, 12, of Chili, took first place on floor exercise and tied with Norah DeRosia, of North Chili, for first place on balance beam.
Kelsey Magin, of Spencerport, earned first place on vault in the Senior E division. In the Junior C age division, Ava Marks, 9, of West Henrietta, took first on vault, floor and all-around.
The Level 4 team finished in sixth place in a field of 29 teams, with Sophia Hogan, 11, of Greece, taking first on bars, beam, floor and all-around in the Junior C division. Mary Cook, 12, of Brockport, won balance beam in the Senior B division.
In the Senior D division, Anna Silivestro, of Spencerport, took first on floor exercise and Chloe Potts, of Avon, was first on bars.
