Next week: The 18th edition of the Rochester International Jazz Festival kicks off June 21 and goes through June 29. Here's what you need to know:

The 18th edition of the Rochester International Jazz Festival is just around the corner! Thousands of people will head downtown for nine-day festival beginning on June 21.

TICKETS:

This year, festival attendees have the option to buy a 3- or 9-day Club Pass. The passes, which are shareable, give you unlimited access and allow you to come and go from shows as you like.

You can buy tickets online, over the phone by calling (585) 454-2060, or in person. The ticket office is located at the corner of East Avenue and Gibbs Street. It is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. throughout the festival.

You do not need tickets for free shows.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Headliners for the festival include Patti LaBelle, Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Steve Miller Band with special guest Marty Stuart, George Benson, Steve Gadd Band, Marc Cohn, and the Blind Boys of Alabama.

Free show headliners include the Allman Betts Band, The Legendary Downchild Blues Band 50th Anniversary featuring Dan Aykroyd, Trombone Shorty, and Orleans Avenue.

STREET CLOSURES:

The nine-day festival will impact traffic in the East End and Main Street area of downtown. Street closures will begin Friday, June 14 until Saturday, June 29.
