Electric trolley rides will run Aug. 2-4 at the New York Museum of Transportation, 6393 E. River Road, West Henrietta, during the Monroe County Fair.
The museum’s rail line is next to the fairgrounds. Rides cost $2. The trolley will operate from noon to 7 p.m. on Aug. 2, 2 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 3 and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 4.
The museum will be open on Aug. 3-4, featuring a steam locomotive, model railroad, highway and horse-drawn vehicles, and the Midtown Plaza Monorail.
Riders wanting to visit the museum will receive a credit deducting their $2 fare from the regular admission: $8 for adults, $7 for ages 65 and older, $6 for ages 3-12, and free for ages 3 and younger. Call (585) 533-1113 or visit nymtmuseum.org for information.
