According to Seneca Falls Police Department, the children—ages 2, 9 and 10—were left inside the car for more than 25 minutes while Natasha Smith went into Walmart.

A Seneca County woman is accused of leaving her three young children alone in her car while she shopped.

Natasha Smith, 36, of Romulus, is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Officers responded to the Walmart Super Center just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of three children being left alone in a car.

According to Seneca Falls Police Department, the children—ages 2, 9 and 10—were left inside the car for more than 25 minutes while Smith went in the store.

Smith was released on her own recognizance. She's due back in court at a later date.
