Shane Hutt, 28, was arrested Saturday night and charged with two separate larcenies in Irondequoit.

The Irondequoit Police Department have arrested the second suspect in a series of tip jar thefts at local eateries.

Shane Hutt, 28, was arrested Saturday night and charged with two separate larcenies in Irondequoit. Hutt is currently being held at the Monroe County Jail.

He was wanted in connection with the theft at Thai Mii Up Cuisine on Sunday, Aug. 18. Police say a tip jar with about $50 to $60 was stolen from the counter.

Police arrested Marissa Stewart Wednesday for petit larceny, and say she admitted to being the getaway driver.

Eight locations in total have reported similar tip jar thefts.

Irondequoit Police are working with other agencies on other similar thefts.
