Flower City Habitat for Humanity and Howard Hanna Real Estate Services will sponsor a Declutter Day from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 13, at Howard Hanna’s Brighton office parking lot, 2349 Monroe Ave.
Residents are encouraged to drop off working gas or electric ranges, clothes washers or dryers, microwaves, and other appliances. Living and dining room, bedroom, and kitchen furniture in good to excellent condition will be accepted, as will doors and lighting fixtures.
The following items cannot be accepted: broken, stained or non-working items, TVs, paints, fuels and solvents, mattresses, magazines, newspapers, and small housewares.
Howard Hanna agents will be on-site to assist with unloading items. Donation forms will be available for those wishing to document a charitable tax donation.
