The Landmark Society of Western New York will present its 26th annual Ghost Walk on Oct. 25-26 starting from Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word, 597 East Ave., Rochester.
Lantern-bearing guides will lead participants down the darkened streets of a historic neighborhood and stop for theatrical performances by the ghosts of Rochester’s past, each enacting a gory true story.
Cindy Boyer, director of public programs, said this year’s tour highlights old favorites and new stories.
“This is a great venue for this uniquely Rochester experience,” she said. “This year, we welcome another group of ghosts that has not seen the ‘light of night’ for over 20 years.”
The first tour steps off at 6:30 p.m., then each hour until 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $22 in advance, $25 at the door. Discounts are available for Landmark Society members. Reserved tour time tickets will be available to all.
Call (585) 546-7029, ext. 11 or visit for tickets, or stop by Parkleigh at the corner of Park Avenue and Goodman Street.
