The 2019-20 Fielding Studio Series is starting with “Queen” by Madhuri Shekar and directed by Pirrone Yousefzadeh until Nov. 24 at the Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd., Rochester.
PhD candidates Sanam and Ariel spent the last seven years researching vanishing bee populations across the globe. Just as they are about to publish a career-defining paper, Sanam stumbles upon an error that could jeopardize everything. Both women must make a choice: look the other way and save the bees, or tell the truth and face the consequences.
