In September, He pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges for the deaths of Selena Hidalgo-Calderon and her son Owen. The two disappeared from a Sodus farm in May 2018. Selena's body was found a week later in some woods near the farm. Owen's remains were discovered at the same farm the following October.

Also in September, Reyes pleaded guilty in a separate federal case involving counterfeit documentation and illegal re-entry into the country. He faces 10 years in prison for that case.

Reyes is set to be sentenced in Wayne County Court at 10 a.m. Thursday.
