The 19th Rochester Early Music Festival is showcasing music from the Middle Ages up to the baroque period (1400-1750), and promoting the 21st-century musicians dedicated to performing this repertoire.
Events include an appearance on “Live from Hochstein,” offerings from Ad Hoc Chamber Music and Eastman Community Music School, and a Rochester Beer Choir Early Music sing-along at the Old Stone Tavern.
Translations of medieval and choral music will be performed alongside the original song settings on Nov. 8 at Two Saints Church, 17 S. Fitzgerald St. The REMF Gala is slated for Nov. 15 at St. Anne Church.
