State Sen. Pam Helming, R-54th District, recently recognized 10 veterans who live in the town of Webster during a veterans recognition ceremony held Nov. 4 at Cottreall-Warner American Legion Post 942.
The veterans were nominated by family, friends and members of the community for the New York Senate Veterans Hall of Fame. They were among a total of 76 nominations Helming received for this award across the six counties she represents.
The veterans from the town of Webster honored at this event include Daniel D. Barnes, George Brauch, Nathan Browning, Martin J. Cocca, Theodore Ellstrom, Louis A. Gangi Jr., Verner Ogi, John Schoenberger, Robert Squires and Frank T. Tantalo Sr.
