OFC Creations expanded its 2019-20 season to include 13 holiday performances before the year’s end ranging from Elvis impersonators to a new musical comedy and holiday drag shows.
Earlier this season, OFC and Judith Ranaletta presented “Nunsense” for a sold-out run at the Century Club of Rochester. Ranaletta, former artistic and vocal director for Greece Athena High School, is preparing for her spring musical, “Man of La Mancha,” as an interactive experience moving room-to-room in the Century Club.
“Projects like what Judith has been creating is what makes OFC unique for Rochester,” said Eric Vaughn Johnson, executive director. “We want to continue to offer experiences to students and audience members that broaden our vision of what performing arts can and should be.”
OFC Creations’ 2019-20 season marks its 15th year as a Rochester theater company focused on education and experimental professional projects under the direction of Johnson. The season ranges from family entertainment to drag queens, original musicals and interactive experiences.
OFC Creations recently announced the headlining performer for 2019-20. Fran Drescher, known for her role in “The Nanny,” will close the season in June 2020 on the Main Stage at the Kodak Center.
