Bella Pucci led the with way with a game-high 15 points as the Fairport girls basketball team edged Canandaigua, 52-49, on the road Tuesday.
Abi Smith added 9 points and Alex Kehrig had 8 points for the Red Raiders (2-1).
For Canandaigua, Mya Herman recorded 12 points while Maddie Ryan, Sydney Miller and Kyleigh Chapman each tallied 8 points.

Carter McWilliams finished with 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the Braves. Matt McMullen had two goals and goalie Cade Chesler had 26 saves for Canandaigua.

Jack McCandless and Andrew Haugh both netted two goals to lead the Blue Devils. Nick Peluso had 1 goal and 2 assists, Colin McNamara and Cal Lambert both had 1 goal and 1 assist and Steven Armstrong scored 1 goal for Victor. Blue Devils goalie Pieter Bartelse tallied 11 saves.
Joseph Lemieux scored twice for the Warriors. Webster Schroeder goalie Jacob Lattuca recorded 23 saves in the loss.
