New location set to open Spring of 2020 at Hathaway House location
Lyons National Bank unveiled a new location in Farmington Wednesday, breaking ground with multiple notable public officials and bank staff, according to a release.
"LNB has been doing business in Farmington for years, and we're excited to bring a full-service office to the community," said Thomas Kime, president of LNB.
Located at 1423 Hathaway Drive, the newest branch will be the regional bank's third location in Ontario and sixteenth total, according to the release, with a release date of Spring 2020.
The site also holds unique significance for the area, housed at the same site as the notable landmark Hathaway House, originally created in the 1790s. According to the release, the "original house has been saved and will be restored and used as a Community Room available to local organizations as a meeting space."
"We want the Farmington community to feel a sense of pride when they visit the branch, as it incorporates the second oldest structure in Ontario County," said Kime.
"While we look to celebrate the past, we are excited to invest in the continued development of Farmington and play a role in its future growth and success."
Aside from Kime, other notable officials present at the ceremony included State Sen. Pam Helming, Assemblyman Brian Kolb, Farmington Town Supervisor Peter Ingalsbe and Farmington's Town Historian Donna-Hill-Herendeen, among others.
