Police say woman threw a 13-inch knife, almost striking a victim in the head
Canandaigua City Police say a woman threw a 13-inch knife, almost striking a victim in the head. Police charged Alma L. Giles, 25, of Canandaigua with one count of second-degree attempted assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
According to police, Giles got into a domestic dispute with a female victim on Dec. 11, 2019. During the altercation, Giles threw a 13-inch knife in close proximity of where the victim was standing, almost striking the victim in the head.
Giles was arraigned and released. She is to appear in the City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
