Janice Gouldthorpe recently stepped down from her position as executive director at the Flower City Arts Center to pursue other interests.
During her 15-year tenure, Gouldthorpe stabilized the financial foundation of the organization and led a group of professionals that developed initiatives for youth, veterans, seniors and other underrepresented groups, and continued programs and services for artists at all career levels.
“We wish Janice every success in her future endeavors,” said Margi Ochs, president of the board of directors. “During her time as executive director, the center has flourished, expanding to include many new programs and art forms. Her legacy is a place where people of all ages and abilities can be inspired and educated through art.”
