Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded late Saturday night to a roll-over crash on County Road 8 in Farmington. Deputies said they found a grey Honda sedan on its rooftop blocking the northbound lane, with the driver trapped inside. Deputies said they were able to break the driver’s window and help the driver out of the car. The driver was Gabriel J. Lebrecht, 23, of Farmington and there were no passengers in the car and no other vehicles involved, deputies reported.

Lebrecht had several non-life threatening lacerations to his head, as well as a possible fractured left hand/ wrist. He was taken by Victor Farmington Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital and treated for his injuries.

According to deputies, an investigation found Lebrecht was traveling southbound when he failed to keep right, crossed over the center yellow line and northbound lane. The vehicle proceeded into the ditch on the eastern most side of the highway where it struck a culvert, flipping his vehicle over before coming to rest on its roof.

Lebrecht was ticketed with failure to keep right. He is to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
