VICTOR — A Victor man was injured Monday afternoon when his vehicle went off the road, rolled multiple times and sheared a telephone poll in the Town of Victor.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Nicholas Morreale, 21, of Victor was driving a black Chevy Tahoe southbound on Lynaugh Road at around 4:34 p.m. when it went off the west shoulder, rolled and sheared the pole. Morreale was transported to Thompson Hospital for injuries that appeared not to be life-threatening.

He was cited with speed not reasonable and prudent and operating in violation of a conditional license.

Lynaugh Road was closed for an hour while crews worked, according to the sheriff’s office.

The New York State Police, Fishers and Victor firefighters, Victor/Farmington Ambulance and RG&E all responded, along with sheriff’s deputies.
