Some people who just lost their jobs because of the pandemic are finding they have lost their phone and internet access as well.

The FCC reports many are now getting threatening notices from companies about their service being disconnected.

This announcement comes after those companies signed the commission's "Keep Americans Connected Plan". Around 650 communications providers signed the FCC promise not to terminate service to any residential or small business customers that are unable to pay bills during the crisis.

However, some companies are still cutting service to customers.
