Rochester Gas & Electric recently donated $75,000 to Foodlink in support of the organization’s COVID-19 response.
The donation is part of a $2 million commitment by RG&E’s parent company, AVANGRID, to support national and local programs that are assisting those impacted by the pandemic.
“Foodlink is going to great lengths to produce 5,000 meals daily for school-age kids and provide tens of thousands of emergency food boxes to our network during this time of uncertainty for food-insecure households throughout our region,” said Julia Tedesco, president and CEO of Foodlink.
