Rochester Regional Health recently received $60,000 from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation to support caregivers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically nurse aides, environmental and food services staff, and those who may not have other financial support.
The funding is part of $1.5 million allocated to 18 health care organizations and facilities: eight in southeast Michigan and 10 in western New York.
“We thank the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation for their continued generosity at a time when so many are facing uncertainty,” said Eric Bieber, president and CEO. “The funding is an example of how our communities come together to provide support amid a crisis to help those who need it the most.”
