SENECA — A truck driver from Memphis, Tennessee, was able to get out of his tractor trailer safely, without injury, after overturning Tuesday, May 19, in the Town of Seneca.

Douglas Proctor, 42, was determined to have failed to navigate the curve in the roadway at State Route 14A and Leet Road, and overturned at about 11:40 a.m., according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office. Upon arriving, deputies found Proctor still in the vehicle; deputies and firefighters helped him get safely out of the truck.
State Route 14 and Leet Road were closed for roughly an hour as emergency crews cleaned the area.

Proctor was ticketed with unsafe speed, a ticket returnable to Seneca Town Court.
