Over 250,000 sunflowers are blooming at Stokoe Farms, 656 South Road, Scottsville.
Visitors can enjoy the flowers, activities, animals and games during this year’s Sunflower Experience from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 21-23 and 5 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 21 in support of Camp Good Days and Special Times.
“We have wide open spaces, so guests are easily able to socially distance while walking around our park-like setting,” farm owner Suzanne Stokoe said. “We encourage guests to get out and enjoy a beautiful summer’s day, and help to support a great cause.”
All sunflower bloom sales will go to Camp Good Days and Special Times. The Rochester-based charity supports families dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
“This is a great way the community can have a lovely day at the farm and still help Camp Good Days, one of Rochester’s best-run charities,” Stokoe said.
Extra hand wash and sanitizer stations have been added, as well as signage for high traffic areas where guests will be requested to wear masks. Visit stokoefarms.com for information.
