Farmington resident joins HCR Home Care
Lynne Kelsey, of Farmington, has joined HCR Home Care as regional director of patient services.
In this role, Kelsey is responsible for the daily operations of clinical care and quality, program compliance and operational management of the central New York division. She supervises clinical and paraprofessional services to facilitate and ensure quality patient care delivery.
Kelsey brings more than 25 years of experience to the position. She held leadership positions at University of Rochester Medical Center, Highlands Living Center and The Homestead. At Strong Memorial Hospital, she worked in the areas of bone marrow transplant, surgical ICU/trauma, cardiac catheter lab, organ procurement, quality assurance and orthopedics.
Kelsey holds an associate degree in nursing from Jefferson Community College in Watertown, a bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester and a master's degree from the University of Rochester.
Henrietta physician joins Victor Family Practice
Dr. Sumaiya Kabir, of Henrietta, recently joined Victor Family Practice, 53 W. Main St.
Board-certified in family medicine, Kabir is a SUNY Geneseo alumna who graduated as a doctor of osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. Before joining Victor Family Practice, Kabir was with Highland Family Medicine in Rochester.
