COURTESY OF GENESEE COUNTRY VILLAGE & MUSEUM

Genesee Country Village & Museum’s Summer Sunset Series is back with a lineup of musical performances on the Great Meadow in July and August.

The series presents an opportunity to enjoy the museum grounds after-hours and watch as the sun sets over Flint Hill.

Visitors enjoy a concert on the Great Meadow at Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford.

Concerts will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Uptown Groove will perform on July 23, followed by the GateSwingers on Aug. 13, the Pearlz Band on Aug. 27 and Stone Age Romeos on Sept. 3.

The Freight House Pub and deck will be open for drinks, and the Depot Restaurant will be open for dinner, snacks and ice cream. Roc City Empanadas will be on-site on July 23 and Sept. 3. Food and drink will be served until 8 p.m.

Outdoor and deck seating will be available. Audience members can bring a chair or blanket to relax on the Great Meadow. Picnicking is welcome, but bringing alcohol is not permitted.

The Summer Sunset Series features local artists on select Fridays this summer.

The museum closes at 9 p.m. and the Historic Village will be closed to visitors during these events. Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for museum members, and free for ages 12 and younger. Visit gcv.org for information.
