WellNow Urgent Care recently opened the doors to its newest center in Brockport at 6555 Fourth Section Road.

Available services include COVID-19 testing, treatment for injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening and occupational medicine from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

“We’re pleased to be making care even more convenient for residents and businesses alike in the Brockport community,” President John Radford said. “Injuries and illnesses can happen at the most inconvenient times, including evenings and weekends, and we want our patients to get the care they need to get back to their lives within 45 minutes, on average, instead of waiting in an emergency room for hours or delaying care until Monday morning.”

The Brockport center will treat ailments such as sprains, burns, colds and allergies, as well as provide on-site X-rays, lab testing and physicals. Patients can walk in or schedule a visit online.

Urgent care services are treated on a walk-in basis. Patients can visit wellnow.com to check in and view wait times, or connect with a WellNow provider using the company’s telehealth platform. WellNow accepts most insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, Fidelis and Veterans Affairs TriWest.

Area businesses and self-insured employers from a range of industries can partner with WellNow to develop a custom occupational medicine program to fit their individual needs.

The Brockport facility is WellNow’s sixth location in Greater Rochester. The other centers are in Fairport, Gates, Greece, Irondequoit and Webster.
