Webster mathletes complete virtual season

Webster mathletes participate in the New York State Math League Meet.

Webster’s mathletes recently completed their virtual season with several students earning top awards for the schools and grades. 

Earning top awards for Webster Schroeder High School are freshman Jacqueline Herrmann, sophomore Daniel Gulvin, junior Ren Taguchi and senior Felix Huang. 

Webster Thomas students earning top honors are eighth grader Marin Bedford, freshman Shane Talbot, sophomore Sanjana Baskar, junior Jack Rider and senior JT Mongeon.

Based on their performance throughout the year, the following students participated in the virtual New York State Math League Meet: Herrmann, Huang and Taguchi from Schroeder, and Baskar, Daniel Klimatchev, Alyssa Ogi, Aiden Penza, Rider, Luke Spadoni and Tyler Williams from Thomas. 

The mathletes are coached by Monica Giacoman and Sage Miller from Schroeder, and Paula Abel and Jamie Fagan from Thomas.
